ORGANISATION
VALUES
Renaissance was established with the sole intention of providing good
quality rented properties to people with Learning Disabilities in the
UK within the model of supported living.
We work in the Social Model of Disability, and in the belief that the
vast majority of people are able to live in their own homes, with the
right levels of support.
Since commencing business operations we have gained a reputation for being
able to develop and provide housing for people who have multiple and complex
needs in a person-centred way.
Everything we do depends on an expert assessment of housing needs and
all of our services are built on that assessment.
Each member of our team is committed to these values, which underpin everything
we do in Renaissance.
SERVICE
We provide housing through a person centred approach,
placing the prospective tenant at the centre of everything that we do.
We involve people at all the important stages, offering choice, and allowing
people to exercise control.
Renaissance
involves tenants, families, advocates and professionals from Social Services
and Support Organisations to provide imaginative and appropriate housing
solutions.
Our systems comprise simple, but effective, project management techniques. They identify roles and responsibilities and keep all stakeholders fully appraised at all stages of the housing process. These techniques allow us to identify the milestones on the way to a successful tenancy and communicate progress to everybody concerned.
Due to our ability to deliver quality housing services two organisations have contracted out their housing management & maintenance services to Renaissance.
We
deliver what we say we are going to deliver on time.

Independent
Evaluation of Tenant Satisfaction Survey:
“What has been most impressive is the efforts made to secure understanding
of the terms of Tenancy Agreements and the rights they bestow by both
Renaissance and support staff in the homes.”
